Surface Pro 4とSurface Bookは非常にたくさん売れていてMicrosoftの業績に貢献しまくっていますが、その一方でスリープ中のバッテリー残量の減少やディスプレイ・ドライバーのクラッシュなど、いくつかの不具合が解消されない状態が続いていました。
ついに不具合は修正されたようです。
Surface Pro 4 / Surface Book のアップデートの内容
2月17日付でWindows Updateからの配布が始まっている、Surface Pro 4向けおよびSurface Book向けのアップデート（「Surface Hardware Update – 2/17/2016」）の内容は次のとおりです。

大きな問題はあらかた修正された模様です
アメリカでSurface Pro 4とSurface Bookが発売されて以来、フォーラム等でずっと不満の種として取り上げられていた、スリープ中のバッテリー漏れとディスプレイドライバーの安定性の問題に対して、ようやく手が打たれたようです。
アップデートは設定画面の「更新とセキュリティ」からWindows Updateにアクセスして行えます。
これで安心してSurfaceシリーズを使うことができるようになりますね。よかった。
